Some people seem to be very clear about what they want. For many of us, including me, it is not that easy. What about you? Do you have a specific goal in mind or do you just feel a dissatisfaction with how thing are now and want to make a change?
I've always had a lot of interests, making it hard to focus on just one thing. In college, I majored in everything from Art to Zoology so it took me a lot longer to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. What became clear over time is that I liked Life Sciences and Social Sciences. I find science to be fascinating and like to use it to help others. So, after 14 years of college and a couple of advanced degrees, I ended up as a nurse practitioner. When I developed a condition that caused episodes of brain fog, making it unsafe to continue practicing, I had to quit. But I still wanted to help people and felt dissatisfied with not doing anything so started writing books. It was in looking at more effective ways to market books that I met Kary Oberbrunner. He published the novel on homelessness that my husband and I wrote. I became interested in his book, Unhackable, as a method for helping people become much more productive and focused so that they are able to overcome obstacles to reach their dreams. I became one of his first trained coaches but then I was diagnosed with cancer and had to shift my own focus to treating and overcoming it. It has been a year since my first surgery and three months since my last one. After three surgeries and months of chemo, I'm feeling great and ready to get back to work. I am now ready to start doing some coaching using Kary's Unhackable book and course. Do you know someone who might benefit from some coaching to move forward in reaching a goal? Or, perhaps, you have a dream of something you want to accomplish but just aren't making any progress? I would be delighted to help you to be successful.
