To get what you want, you need goals and they need to be specific and written. Want to make them more visible? Create a vision board where you have pictures that show what you want. Mine for last year had a picture of a white house with a blue metal roof. Now, if I want to see that image, all I have to do is walk outside and look at my house. I also had a picture of a pick-up truck. Check, got that too. Of course, it takes more than a vision board or written goals for you to achieve them but that is a good first step. If you don't know where you want to end up, you will never get there. Clarity about what you want gives you direction. One of the tools that I used when I first wanted to achieve some goals was a book called The Passion Test : The Effortless Path to Discovering Your Life Purpose by Janet Bray Attwood and Chris Attwood. It helped me to narrow down all the different things I wanted into the ones that were most important to me. Once you have a few specific goals, then you can take small action steps toward meeting them. Part of this is developing habits that help you to change what you do with your time so that you are productive, doing what gets you the right results. Want some help with that? I'm offering coaching services based on the book, Unhackable by Kary Oberbrunner.
