It seems like my weight has been a struggle for me for most of my life even though I was at a normal weight for my height. It wasn't until I did a liquid protein diet to lose some extra pounds I put on after a car accident that I was really catapulted into serious trouble as I gained over 100 pounds afterward and became obese for the first time. Despite a background in health, nutrition and diet counseling, it has taken me 30 years of reading, studying and trying things to figure out a system to get that weight off and keep it off.
Because I know how difficult this is for people, I want to help others who are still struggling. I am calling my system, "The Slender Living System: Eight Steps to Permanent Weight Loss". I have this planned as a course with short daily video lessons six days per week for 10 weeks although people will work at their own pace and can take as long as they want to complete it. I want it to be comprehensive so it is not a "diet" with food plans. It addresses not only what and when to eat but also the psychological and emotional aspects which are critical for long term success. It also includes ongoing support. In short, this is not some corporate one-size-fits-all diet plan but a system for real people to overcome the obstacles that are preventing them from getting to and maintaining a normal weight. It also addresses related health issues such as diabetes and hypertension. What I'm looking for right now is feedback. What is your preferred way of learning? How interested would you be in a course like this? Would you be willing to be part of an introductory course, to be launched in January 2019, where you would receive the course at a lower price in exchange for providing feedback? How much do you think a course like this would be worth? Please comment below. Would you be interested in talking to me individually to give me more information about what you want? If so, please email me at [email protected] to provide me with the best phone number to reach you and some good times to call.
